Over the past fifty-five years thousands of people have walked through the doors of Canada's National Ballet School to study, teach or provide administrative support and guidance. Your skills, talents and experiences are valuable tools that can be used to help support each other and the future NBS student and staff community.

Who Are NBS Alumni?

NBS takes a much broader and inclusive approach to its definition of alumni. In addition to graduates of the Professional Ballet Program (PBP), graduates of the Post Secondary Program (PSP) and Teacher Training Program (TTP) are included. Additionally, every student from those programs, as well as all staff, Board, and Foundation members, who shared a year of their life with NBS are considered NBS alumni.

NBS Alumni have an exciting opportunity to create a niche for the School’s legacy, and to help develop future programs from which everyone in the NBS community can benefit.

Louisa Rachedi (Class of 2003)

In my years as a professional ballet dancer, I have crossed paths with many talents, but rarely have I met such courageous artists as NBS graduates.

Rachel Bar (Class of 2002)

There are many places around the world that offer great ballet training, but few are committed to developing artists in the way that I experienced at Canada's National Ballet School.
