Anne is currently studying in the Teacher Training program at Canada’s National Ballet School. Originally from Toronto, she trained in the Claude Watson Arts Program at Earl Haig Secondary School specializing in ballet and modern. She then completed the Concurrent Education Program at Queen’s University, earning a BA (Hons) with distinction in English Language & Literature and a BEd. She is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, and prior to attending NBS taught Elementary French Immersion with the York Region District School Board.

Anne has worked with diverse groups, teaching in many different settings, and is particularly enthusiastic about introducing people to dance for the first time. Her passion for arts education led her to NBS to pursue further studies in dance pedagogy, and after completing her first year at the school, Anne received the Carole Chadwick Award for demonstrating significant potential over her teacher training.
