On June 16, the graduating class of 2016 received their diplomas and certificates from Teacher Training Program Manager Anuschka Roes and Artistic Director Mavis Staines. The graduates have been offered jobs in Japan, Newfoundland, Ontario, British Columbia while others will return to York University and Simon Fraser University to continue complete their joint program.

The Sylvia M. McPhee Award is presented to a graduating teacher who has demonstrated significant potential and citizenship during his or her teacher training. This year's recipient is Katherine Olsen.

The Carole Chadwick Award is presented to a returning teacher in training who has demonstrated significant potential over his or her teacher training. This year's recipient is Shannon Bray.

The Betty Oliphant Award is presented to a graduating teacher who has demonstrated significant talent and potential over his or her teacher training. This year's recipient is Lin Zhou.
