Kristin McCarney

Young Dancers Program

Kristin McCarney began her dance training at the Lindsay Dance Studio, before furthering her dance career in Toronto. She is a graduate from Canada’s National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program with the Sylvia McPhee award, and the York University Dance Program. Kristin holds a Registered Teaching Status with the Royal Academy of Dance, as well as her Associates with the ISTD. She has completed examinations in many different styles of dance, and has experience teaching and choreographing in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and national dance. She is passionate about choreographing and teaching dance to all ages and abilities.

What do you do in your free time?: Playing football, running, skating, being with friends and family.

 

Bucket list item: Become good at hip-hop.
