What is NBS' Staff Campaign?

The Staff Campaign is a fundraising initiative led by us, the staff of NBS. The purpose is to provide financial support to students and their families who find themselves in unexpected or emergency circumstances. But our Campaign is about more than fundraising, it's about building a community of people who care.

Our facilities, the students, our colleagues and our donors add up to make NBS a leading, world-class institution and one of the best places to work. Our goal is to have 100% of staff make a personal financial contribution of any amount to NBS. Not only are we a world-class institution training world-class dancers, we are also a collective of some of the most caring and committed staff in the world.

Where does the money raised by the Staff Campaign go?

The Staff Campaign raises funds that go to the Artistic Director's Discretionary Fund. The Fund is used to support students by ensuring they have the essentials they need to succeed. All funds raised by the Staff Campaign go towards providing assistance to students in unexpected or emergency situations – examples include a last-minute flight home during a family medical emergency, or the hiring of a tutor to help a student struggling with a specific subject at school.
