To celebrate International Dance Day which occurs annually on April 29, NBS is pleased to announce that for 2012 we will rehearse and perform another flashmob dance!

This year's routine is a Bollywood-inspired number, created by Toronto-based choreographer Lopa Sarkar and set to Turn the Music Up, a song by Montreal-based group The Bilz & Kashif.

IDD 2012 Rehearsals

Rehearsals for the routine will be held at NBS (400 Jarvis Street) and begin the week of February 6. Rehearsals are free and open to all, but advance registration for participation is required.

As with previous flashmob rehearsals, attendance is not mandatory. Each participant should decide how many rehearsals they wish to attend based on their own comfort and experience level. There is no RSVP required for rehearsals. When you arrive at NBS for your rehearsals, please ask at reception for directions to the studio for the International Dance Day rehearsal.
