Location
Canada's National Ballet School's main campus is located at 400 Jarvis Street. Guests arriving at the Celia Franca Centre, Betty Oliphant Theatre or Lozinski House can access the adjacent driveway at the front of the building. Guests arriving at Currie Hall will disembark on Maitland Street curbside in front of the residential buildings.
Parking
Underground parking for 50 vehicles at the Celia Franca Centre is available in association with valet services provided by Northern Valet. Area parking is also available nearby on Jarvis, Church and Maitland streets.

Booking
When booking, please specify the space you require and the number of guests expected. A contract specifying details of your function will be provided, finalized and signed, with your payment as confirmation of your booking.
Advance Payment
A 25% deposit is required in order to confirm your booking. The balance is required 10 days prior to the event date. A damage deposit may be requested for social functions. The damage deposit will be released within three weeks after the event, providing no damages have been assessed and all other payments have been received.
Late Bookings
If you book less than 30 working days prior to your event, full payment and the damage deposit will be required at the time of your booking.
Changes and Cancellations
If you decide to change the date or time of your event, or cancel your event, contact your NBS Account Manager immediately. Changes or cancellations must be received in writing:

If you cancel more than 90 days prior to an event, you will be charged 25% of the contract value.
If a cancellation is made within 60-90 days of the event you will be charged 50% of the contract value.
Cancellation made within 30-59 days of the event will result in a charge of 75% of the contract value.
If cancellation is made within 29 days prior to the event, 100% of the contract value will be charged.
Facilities Access
Access to your space is permitted once contract payment terms have been met. If you require access prior to the arranged time, contact the Account Manager to arrange availability. Additional fees may apply.
Full-day and Half-day Bookings
Space is available for day and evening/weekend rentals. Rates are based on two time periods of either up to four hours or from four to eight hours. It is possible to hold your event for a 24 hour period. Please confirm your needs at time of booking.
Catering
Catering can be arranged for your event along with all other elements. From rentals to décor to entertainment, please contact us to find out more about these services and to begin the process of planning your event. A landmark fee of 15% on the cost of food and staffing will be added to the catering invoice. This fee supports the ongoing programs of Canada’s National Ballet School.
Liquor Service
A Special Occasion Permit from the LCBO must be obtained when alcohol is served. Our Account Manager(s) or your preferred caterer can assist in this process. Please allow at least two weeks prior to the event for processing the permit form.
Audio-Visual Equipment
Audio-visual equipment is available through the Betty Oliphant Theatre. A list of equipment and professional technical services is available through your Account Manager. Equipment is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional items will be provided through our preferred suppliers. Clients arranging to bring in their own equipment must coordinate through the NBS Account Manager.
Internet, Telephone and Fax Services
Wireless Internet, telephone conference and fax services are available for your event. Please verify your requirements at the time of your booking.
Disabled Access
All NBS properties are wheelchair accessible. Please inform NBS staff in advance regarding any special needs for your guests with physical disabilities.
