2013/14 National Audition Tour The National Audition Tour Continues
NBS� 2013/2014 National Audition Tour, presented by Sun Life Financial, is off to a great start! After a successful launch in Moncton, New Brunswick, NBS staff are travelling coast to coast across Canada stopping in 21 different cities. Nutcracker The Nutcracker
Each year, students from NBS participate in The National Ballet of Canada�s holiday performance, The Nutcracker. Along with the lead roles of Marie and Misha, NBS students play roles as lambs, dogs, chefs and courtiers. Associates students Associates Program
First term Parent Viewing Days will take place from Monday, December 9th to Sunday, December 15th. The last day of classes is Sunday, December 15th; classes resume Monday, January 6th. Best of luck to all AP students involved in The Nutcracker this year!

Dancing with Parkinson�s at NBS
Term II registration will be open for new participants as of December 10th. Term II will begin on January 14th. To register, call the Registrar�s office during business hours at 416 964 3780. Read more about the program here.

Adult Ballet registration is now open! Term II starts January 6, 2014. Also, be sure to contact us for holiday gift certificates! Check out Ballet Bob�s suggestions for why you should take adult ballet classes.

PBP Professional Ballet Program Holiday Break
NBS will break for the holidays and resume regular activities in the New Year. Safe travels to all PBP students returning home and our best wishes to students performing in The Nutcracker from December 14th until January 4th. All regular classes will end at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18th with the Senior School resuming Monday, January 6th and the Junior School resuming Monday, January 13th.

The Shoe Room Holiday Hours
Please Note: The Shoe Room will be closed for the holidays from December 23rd to January 1st inclusive. All online orders placed during this time will be processed after our return on January 2nd, 2014. We wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season!

The Royal Opera House�s The Nutcracker will be shown in Cineplex cinemas on December 12th and 22nd. Check Cineplex for locations and times.
AGM Annual General Meeting
NBS� AGM will be held on December 4th in the Betty Oliphant Theatre. Invitations have been sent to donors. Following the meeting, AGM materials will be posted on the website, alongside the Fall 2013 edition of To the Pointe.
