We have arrangements with both York University (Toronto, ON) and Simon Fraser University (SFU) (Vancouver, BC) to allow students to gain both an NBS Teaching Diploma and an undergraduate degree. While the structure of both programs is similar, the content varies considerably.
In both cases, students have the option of first spending three years at York University or SFU, then joining NBS for two years of the Three-Year Diploma Program. Alternatively, students can complete the Three-Year Diploma at NBS, then join York or SFU in the third year of the four-year degree program, effectively receiving their degree after two years of study at either university.
Accreditation
York University graduates receive the NBS Diploma (TTP(Dip) – NBS) as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). SFU offers a BFA to students who commence their studies at the university and a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) to students who commence at NBS.
Entrance Requirements
Audition and academic requirements for both NBS and either York or SFU must be met for acceptance into these programs.
