Did you know that many corporations will “match” charitable contributions made by their employees? Corporate Matching Gift Programs are an easy way to multiply your gift and allow you to direct your contribution to a cause that is close to your heart!

We appreciate the efforts of our donors in augmenting their donations by securing matching gifts which are an important source of funds for NBS. A number of corporations extend this benefit to their employees. While each program differs, donations of all kinds including cash and stocks, are often matched for employees, retirees, spouses and board members too. Bank of Montreal, Deloitte, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Sun Life Assurance and Telus are just a few of the many corporations that match gifts to arts organizations such as Canada’s National Ballet School.

NBS donors recently surveyed indicated an interest in creative ways to increase their support. Joining a Matching Gift Program is simple. Contact your HR department to confirm that your employer offers this program, complete their form and send it to NBS along with your donation.
