Dance Saskatchewan is a non-profit organization committed to the advancement of dance.  Their purpose is to preserve, promote, and represent dance in Saskatchewan, to support and enhance the development of all dance forms, and to encourage a passion for dance. They operate a multidisciplinary centre that focuses on dance, integrates related art forms, and provides expanded opportunities in a wellness environment.

This year, NBS is working with Dance Saskatchewan to bring Sharing Dance to the city of Saskatoon. Rehearsals are taking place at the DSI Centre on Sunday evenings throughout April, and Sunday afternoons throughout May. Dance Saskatchewan is engaging children and youth in schools, and seniors in Sharing Dance through FREE programming offered during National Dance Week (beginning April 25th). Along with organizations across the country, Dance Saskatchewan is encouraging participants to learn the routine and fundraise along the way. All the funds raised will support the delivery of free, fun, accessible and healthy dance programs year-round for Canadians of all ages.

Dance Saskatchewan will be performing the Sharing Dance Day routine on June 3rd as part of the opening celebrations for the PotashCorp Children's Festival. A group will also be performing the routine on June 6th.
