Emily Tench

Emily has dedicated her career to teaching adult ballet since 2010. Emily is a graduate of the professional programs at School of Toronto Dance Theatre and CODARTS: Rotterdams Dansacademie. After an 8 year international career in modern dance, Emily transitioned to teaching. She has her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies through the Royal Academy of Dance and supplemental training with NBS’s Teacher Training Program. Emily is the Director of Canada's only Adult RAD Ballet Examination Program.

In her spare time Emily enjoys working in her backyard vegetable garden and going on nature adventures with her 7 year old daughter.
