At Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS), the health and safety of our community—including staff and students—is our first priority. On this page, you will find a range of information about NBS' health and safety protocols. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Toronto and around the world, and consulting with the appropriate public health agencies including Toronto Public Health (TPH). Please continue to monitor this page for any updates or advisories, and also reference the trusted resources listed at the bottom of this page for any additional information about COVID-19.

In accordance with the Ontario government’s plan for students' safe return, if there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 that involves a student or staff member at the School, an update will be posted here. No identifying information about individuals will be shared.

There are currently no advisories at NBS.

Due to new Toronto Public Health guidelines, which restrict the number of people in the entire building for recreational programs to 10 people total (excluding staff), all onsite Adult Ballet and Associates Program classes will be moved to an online format over Zoom. This is effective immediately. If you have any questions, please email registrar@nbs-enb.ca.

Detailed health and safety protocols have been put into place and are outlined at the links below for each of NBS' programs. If you have any questions or require additional information, please direct your inquiry to the email contact identified for each program. Please note that visitors are not currently able to enter NBS buildings; access is restricted to NBS staff and registered students.
