Celia Franca Centre

400 Jarvis Street

The Celia Franca Centre is an award-winning, state-of-the-art dance training facility at Canada’s National Ballet School.

The three storey atrium at the heart of the Celia Franca Centre is called Mona Campbell Square. It serves as a café and gathering place for the school and makes an ideal venue for events. An impressive modern structure of glass-and-steel surrounds and encases the Georgian-style house of long time Ontario Premier Sir Oliver Mowat (originally built in 1856). The superb integration of heritage buildings and contemporary architecture can be enjoyed inside and out. The atrium opens on to a courtyard, providing a seamless transition of indoor and outdoor spaces.
