Teacher Training Graduation Teacher Training Graduation
On June 14, twelve Teacher Training Program students graduated in the Betty Oliphant Theatre in front of parents, family, friends and staff. The Betty Oliphant Award was presented by Jocelyn Allen to Emma Wilkinson, while the Carol Chadwick Award (presented to a returning student) was given to Bartira Barreto. Congratulations to the class of 2012!

June 22 saw the class of 2012 receive their diplomas and congratulations from Co-CEOs Mavis Staines and Grant Troop. In addition to the Academic Awards, Ballet awards were presented. New this year is the The Special Ballet Staff Award in Honour of Glenn Gilmour. Congratulations to all graduating students! Learn more about the Professional Ballet Program.
Summer School Summer School begins!
Beginning the week of July 2, NBS welcomes students and Artistic staff to its four week long Summer School program. PBP students will spend their July dancing while auditioning students will see what it's like to experience dance in a relaxed, camp-like atmosphere. Welcome to all!
