Dancing with Parkinson’s
During Parkinson’s Awareness Month in April, the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario invited NBS and Dancing with Parkinson’s Canada to visit five communities across Ontario to highlight the positive impact of Dance for PD classes. The purpose was to provide a free class for people living with Parkinson’s, while also researching which communities desire a full-time program. Upwards of 200 people took part, and the feedback was very positive. The plan is to establish ongoing programs across the province over the next two years!
