Julia Lifshine

Julia is originally from Moscow, Russia, and lived for many years in St Petersburg. She got her training at the Conservatory College in St Petersburg and accompanied ballet classes at the Vaganova Ballet Academy before leaving to immigrate with her family to Canada via Italy in 1978. She played at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School for 8 years before moving to Toronto. She has played at NBS from 1988 and accompanies all levels of ballet, character, Cecchetti, and RAD dance classes. She also plays at several area ballet schools including Bayview School of Ballet (16 years) as well as Interplay and PSB dance studios.
