Betti Adams is a highly experienced and dedicated educational leader with a passion for fostering academic excellence, inclusivity and personal growth. With over 37 years of experience in education, she has served as a teacher, school administrator, president of the Principal’s Association, and leadership trainer with the Waterloo Board of Education.


Betti Adams holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership Degree from Charles Sturt University, a Bachelor of Education Degree from Western University and an Undergraduate degree in Dance from the University of Waterloo. She also has her School Supervisory Officer’s qualifications from OPC. 


Betti joined NBS in 2021 and believes in the importance of nurturing not only the academic success of our students, but also the social and emotional well-being; setting the stage for all our students to thrive. Of high importance to Betti is developing strong partnerships with the school, families and the NBS community.


Fun facts about me: Outside of work, I cherish the time I can spend with my family and friends. We enjoy doing a variety of activities together such as golfing, skiing, hiking, biking and just spending time together.
