Ruzbeh is a highly experienced educator with a steadfast commitment to fostering academic excellence, inclusivity, and personal growth within his students. He possesses over two decades of experience teaching biology and science at both the high school and college levels, having worked across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as well as internationally. His passion for unraveling the mysteries of the natural world has inspired countless students to pursue careers in life sciences and related disciplines.
Recognized for his innovative teaching methods, Ruzbeh effectively integrates artificial intelligence, multimedia resources, and interactive hands-on and virtual laboratories into his instructional practices. By employing Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Differentiated Instruction (DI), and Culturally Relevant and Responsive Pedagogy (CRRP) approaches, he ensures that each lesson is accessible, engaging, and thought-provoking, enabling students to make meaningful connections with scientific concepts. Ruzbeh has been a course developer based on Ontario Curriculum and internationally for numerous high schools.
Ruzbeh is an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) and holds a Master’s degree in Genetics, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. He has considerable hands-on experience in microbiology, genetics, biotechnology and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Ruzbeh is committed to continuous professional development, consistently seeking opportunities to enhance his skills and knowledge, leading him to new horizons in innovative pedagogy.
