Iain Rowe

Iain Rowe was born and raised in Canada and trained at Canada's National Ballet School. Following his graduation, he joined the Royal Danish Ballet, where he performed in a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire including world premiere creations by Jiří Kylián and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. An increasing interest in the training of dancers brought him to New York City, where he attained his Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University. Upon his return to Canada, he broadened his pedagogical knowledge and experience through the Teacher Training Program for Former Professional Dancers at Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) and has been a member of NBS’ Artistic Staff since 2020.
