Anne Mette has over 25 years of experience in investment management. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Burgundy Asset Management. She joined the firm in 2008 as Portfolio Manager of emerging markets equities, bringing with her 8 years of prior experience as portfolio manager of global equities and balanced mandates. Prior to investment management, Anne Mette worked 8 years in strategy consulting with both Monitor Group and Braxton Associates, the strategy consulting group of Deloitte.
 
Anne Mette received her MA in Economics in 1992 from the University of Copenhagen, earning part of her degree at the London School of Economics. Anne Mette has been a member of the Board of Directors of Canada’s National Ballet School Foundation since 2007. She served 8 years as Treasurer and served as President from 2020-2021. She is also a trustee of the AGO Foundation Board and a Director of Clairvest Group. In 2006, she received the Arbor Award from the University of Toronto for outstanding volunteer service.
