Daniella is the Managing Director, Pension Risk at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, focusing on plan funding levels and sustainability, and providing actuarial insight and expertise across a wide range of matters. Prior to Ontario Teachers’, Daniella held roles at Eckler Ltd, Fiera Capital and Mercer, and has more than 20 years of experience providing pension, investment, and pension risk management advisory services to a wide range of clients including private and public sector defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments and foundations. She earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). Daniella is a member of the University of Waterloo Athletics Hall of Fame, a former member of the Canadian National Track and Field team and enjoys reading and learning languages.
