Heather Taylor is currently Vice President, Sustainability and Communications at Osisko Gold Royalties, an intermediate precious metals royalty and streaming company. Heather joined Osisko in early 2021, bringing over 15 years of capital markets experience. Prior to Osisko, Heather served as Head of Business Development at Nexa Resources, where she managed and executed the company’s M&A strategy. Earlier in her career, she led Investor Relations at Nevsun Resources, which was acquired by Zijin Mining following a complex hostile takeover defense process.

Heather’s diverse experience spans institutional equity research, trading and sales, corporate development and ESG strategy and implementation, providing her with a unique perspective on financial, operational and sustainability landscapes.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Heather has been passionate about dance and the arts since childhood, beginning ballet at the age of seven and continuing to nurture her love for creative expression throughout her life. She now finds joy in sharing this passion with her two young daughters, fostering a special bond through the love of movement and the arts.
