Jenna Rose-Freeman is an arts and culture leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning arts administration, strategic planning, project management, government relations, partnership development, and organizational stewardship.

As Director of Business Operations and Government Relations at NBS, where she has served for more than a decade, Jenna oversees a diverse portfolio that includes business operations, organizational processes, retail operations through NBS The Shoe Room, the School’s information and emerging technology strategies, government relations, public funding, and the management of grant-funded initiatives. She also serves as the School's Chief Privacy Officer.

Throughout her tenure at NBS, Jenna has helped drive innovation, growth, and organizational impact. She has expanded and diversified the School's government funding portfolio, securing support from a broad range of government departments and ministries for strategic and special-project initiatives. She is leading the development of NBS' emerging technology and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, contributing to new revenue-generation opportunities, and supporting the growth and scaling of NBS’ Research Institute. Known for her human-centred and systems-oriented blended approach, Jenna brings together strategic thinking, operational excellence, and collaborative leadership to advance meaningful partnerships and mission-driven outcomes.

Jenna's connection to the arts began in childhood, spending much of her early years immersed in a dance studio before pursuing academic studies at Western University and the University of Toronto. She holds a Master of Museum Studies from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership for Impact.

Beyond her work at NBS, Jenna is committed to strengthening the broader arts and cultural sector through volunteer leadership. She has served on boards and committees with the University of Toronto Alumni Association, Anandam Dance Theatre, and Off Season Dance Festival. Based in Toronto with her family, Jenna is also an avid gardener, enthusiastic reader, and passionate traveler.
