Teacher Training Program

Jennifer Bolt teaches dance history and technique in the Teacher Training Program, while writing a book on Bob McCollum and the NBS Adult Ballet Program.  Dr. Bolt holds with academic distinction a joint honours degree in Applied Health Science and the NBS TTP program from the University of Waterloo, an MA on dance and perfectionism and a PhD in on dance student transition from York University.  She is the Founder and CEO of PRIMED™ for Life Education Inc., which offers innovative transition health and well-being solutions for performing arts students in transition. After serving 25 years as an Adjunct University Professor at York University’s AMPD and Faculty of Education,  Dr. Bolt is thrilled to return to teaching Canada’s National Ballet School.

What do you do in your free time? In my free time, I love to garden, go for long nature hikes along the Humber River with my dog Emma or doing Yoga.  

 

What is your favourite travel destination? Paris and Spain! 

 

What is your go-to takeout meal? Sushi!  LOVE Sushi!
