After many years working in the independent school system and the Simcoe County Board of Education, Jenny is thrilled to land at NBS. She has taught as a subject teacher (science, physical and health education, music, learning resource) and a form teacher and is excited to share her experience and knowledge with the wonderful NBS community. Jenny’s academic background is as varied as her experience. She graduated from Queen’s University with a Physical Education degree with a minor in Psychology. Queen’s was also where she earned her Bachelor of Education with a certificate in Outdoor and Experiential Education. After several years of teaching, Jenny took a leave of absence to earn her Master’s in Education with a focus on literacy. She has several additional qualifications courses to augment her teaching experience.

Jenny joined NBS in the fall of 2023 and is so excited to be teaching grade seven in the 2024/25 school year.

Fun Facts: Although Jenny is an outdoor enthusiast and runner, she has a passion for performing in musical theatre and plays and can be seen in performances in various community theatres in the GTA community.
