Jordana Daumec was born in New York City and trained at Studio Maestro in NYC and Canada's National Ballet School. She joined The National Ballet of Canada as a RBC Apprentice in 2003 and was promoted to First Soloist in 2015. She had a 21 year long career that was filled with classical and contemporary ballets, with standout roles including Princess Florine in The Sleeping Beauty, Spring in The Four Seasons and Bronislava in Nijinsky, for which she earned the My Entertainment World Award for Best Outstanding Ballet Performance. Jordana’s love of the art onstage has been equally characteristic of her work behind the scenes as a mentor, creative collaborator and champion of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
