Khalil Calder

Professional Ballet Program

Kahlil Calder is a graduate of the Professional Ballet Program and the Teacher Training Program at Canada’s National Ballet School and a recipient of the Harry Jerome Award from the Black Business and Professional Association. As a professional dancer, he performed lead soloist roles with Alberta Ballet, danced with Internationaal Dans Theatre in Amsterdam, and appeared as a guest artist with Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal. His teaching experience includes company class for Gauthier Dance (Stuttgart) and Internationaal Dans Theatre, guest teaching at the Alberta Ballet School, and current faculty membership in the Professional Ballet Program at Canada’s National Ballet School.
