Nagisa Inoue is a graduate of BFA/Diploma joint program York University and Canada’s National Ballet School Teacher Training Program. She has a teaching certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers Dancing (ISTD), and holds MA from York University. She has been teaching National/Character Dance and Ballet in both the Teacher Training Program and Associate Program. Nagisa also studied Benesh Movement Notation and worked as an assistant dance notator at the National Ballet of Canada. In 2024, she became a Fellow member of the ISTD National Dance Branch (FISTD).  

Fun Facts About Me:

What do you do in your free time? I enjoy doing crafts such as knitting, crocheting, weaving, beading. I also bake a lot. 

Do you know any Toronto hidden gems? There are many diverse neighbourhoods in Toronto. It is fascinating to discover the different cultures.  

What is your favourite travel destination? Europe and Japan, my home!
