Naya Valdellon began her dance training at the age of 4 in Manila, Philippines and later pursued a career in writing, advertising and teaching before graduating with Distinction from the Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School. She holds her Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance, is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique, and runs an RAD Ballet Program for adult students. A lifelong learner, she has an M.A. in English from the University of Toronto and a B.F.A. from the Ateneo de Manila University. As a dance educator, she has taught at many schools and studios in Toronto and is passionate about making dance classes inspiring, challenging yet accessible to students of all ages, abilities and aspirations.
