Samantha Etzel (Honours BFA in Dance, TTP(Dip)-NBS, Associate Diploma CC-CICB, CDTA Licentiate)
Samantha is a passionate and dedicated ballet teacher from Stoney Creek, Ontario. As a student, she received her training in various styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, and acro. With a passion for dance education, Samantha attended York University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and with a Specialized Honours BFA in Dance. She also completed the Teacher Training Program (TTP) at Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) as a part of York University’s joint degree stream where she graduated with Distinction. While at NBS, Samantha achieved her Associate teaching status with the classical ballet society Cecchetti Canada, which she has recently upgraded to Associate Diploma. She is also a Licentiate member with the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association (CDTA) in the ballet division. Samantha is ecstatic to return for her sixth year of teaching in the Adult Ballet Program at NBS!
