Sophia has always cherished the opportunity to explore multiple art forms and feels incredibly grateful to now unite her love of music, dance, and teaching in her career. She is a graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program, where she was honoured as Valedictorian with distinction and received the Carole Chadwick and Sylvia McPhee Awards for teaching. Holding Registered Teaching Status with the Royal Academy of Dance and Associateship with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, Sophia’s training spans ballet, modern, jazz, tap, highland, national, and musical theatre genres, having grown up training at her mother's studio, the Lindsay Dance Studio. Also an accomplished musician, Sophia holds a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the University of Toronto. She is passionate about inspiring artistry, confidence, and joy in every student she teaches.
