Teacher Training Program
Stephanie is a graduate of Canada's National Ballet School's Teacher Training Program, where she graduated the three-year program with Distinction (2006). There, she attained her ISTD National Dance Associate, her advanced examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance while also becoming a registered teaching member.
After graduation she went on to teach pre-professional and recreational students at The Quinte Ballet School, while also completing her Cecchetti Associate Examination. She spent many summers in New York as the Directors Assistant to the late Mignon Furman and teacher at the American Academy of Ballet. She has taught throughout the GTA and has worked in the film industry as an assistant choreographer.
Stephanie’s teaching creates a safe and enjoyable space for students to learn and share their passion together in the studio. She continues to expand her knowledge by attending workshops and continuing education programs. She is also an approved tutor for the Royal Academy of Dance.
Fun Facts About Me:
What do you do in your free time? I can’t really say that I have free time these days. When I am not in the studio I can be found with my family. I love being a mom! It is just as difficult as doing 32 fouetté turns on pointe, but just as rewarding!
What is your favorite travel destination? Cuba! I got married there.
What is your go-to take-out meal? Sushi. It is quick, fresh and delicious.
