Cathryn Gregor has joined NBS as Interim Executive Director. Cathryn brings a wealth of experience to this role, having spent many years with arts organisations in both Toronto and Ottawa.
Santee Smith Flashmob
The new routine is about to be launched on sharingdance.ca. Choreographed by NBS alum Santee Smith, with music by A Tribe Called Red the routine is based on an intertribal/pow wow theme – it promises to be lots of fun. We'll perform it in early June, to coincide with National Aboriginal month. Rehearsals begin mid-February; check the website for the schedule.

Anna Pavlova Assemblée Internationale 2013
On May 2, NBS will host a book launch for Anna Pavlova: Twentieth Century Ballerina, recently published in the UK. Cheryl Belkin Epstein will present a talk detailing Pavlova's significance as both a dancer and an entrepreneur in the Betty Oliphant Theatre.
Box office will open for AI13 performance ticket sales on March 12.

Adult Ballet students Adult Ballet
Term II is underway with close to half of the classes sold out. For interest in Term III, sign your name onto the Adult Ballet Contact List. Term III begins Wednesday April 17 and runs until the end of July.
Associates students Associates' Program
No classes will be held on Family Day weekend, February 16-18. AP Evaluations will start on February 9th. See posted schedule for details. AP/TTP Choreographic Workshop rehearsals are well under way in preparation for the March 3rd presentation. Families in the Associates Program will receive a statement for their Child Fitness Tax Credit.
PBP students Professional Ballet Program
Professional Ballet students will also take a much deserved rest during their spring break, February 15-24. Families in the PBP will receive statements for their records concerning the Child Fitness Tax Credit.
