NBS Sharing Dance Day 2018 was a resounding success across Canada. People danced in studios, classrooms, community centres, flash mobs, gymnasiums, in their own homes and just about anywhere they could move. Signature Official Events in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax - as well as dozens of grassroots events - engaged Canadians of all ages and abilities and demonstrated that we are all dancers.

Highlights from NBS’ Sharing Dance Canada 2017 country-wide events. From Halifax to Calgary, Montreal to Ottawa, and Winnipeg to Toronto - see how communities and individuals came together to celebrate Canada’s 150th through, and with dance.

10 communities and over 7,000 people across Canada participated in Sharing Dance Day 2016. Together, the Sharing Dance community raised almost $11,000 to support the delivery of FREE, fun, accessible and healthy dance programs year-round for children and youth, seniors, and everyone in between.
