The 2024-25 year marked moments of continuity and renewal at Canada’s National Ballet School. The School concluded its three-year strategic plan and began shaping the next five-year plan: Momentum 2030—Our Commitment to People, Programs, and Place. It was also a year rooted in the ethos of “sweat before the spotlight”—a testament to the rigorous work that fuels NBS’ visible achievements across artistic training, academic programs, community dance initiatives, and organizational operations.
We are grateful to our students, staff, faculty, supporters, alumni, partners, and the Board of Directors for the care, integrity, and collaboration they bring to this work. Together, we are shaping an institution that is both deeply rooted and forward looking; an institution prepared to lead with purpose, resilience, and imagination.
