Company Life Students Perform at 10th International Junior Ballet Encounters
Four students from our Company Life Program took part in the 10th International Junior Ballet Encounters at the Pôle National Supérieur de Danse (PNSD) Rosella Hightower. The International Junior Ballet Encounters take place every two years in Mougins and Cannes, France, and bring together the young dance talents of tomorrow. Dancers in their post graduate years of training from international dance organizations are invited to experience a week of blended classes and workshops, while working on their own repertoire and concluding with two public performances. Company Life dancers Patrice Bertrand, Lila Jacobs, Benjamin Moss, and Mayako Setta were accompanied to Cannes by Artistic Manager Keith Morino and Artistic Faculty/Choreographer Esie Mensah. Our dancers rehearsed and performed Eshi, choreographed by Esie and also The Light of Movement choreographed by NBS Alum Hannah Galway, current 1st soloist with the National Ballet of Canada.
